About

Hey! Thanks for visiting and welcome!

The idea to create this blog was a rather spontaneous one, with the intent of clarifying the mathematical foundation of some cryptocurrencies and crypto-assets. It also serves as a platform to share my contribution to the field whenever applicable.

The name “Delfr” is a reference to the oracle of Delphi who spoke for the Greek god Apollo. In the crypto-verse, hash functions – as well as their idealized counterparts known as random oracles – make a constant appearance and underly the security of many signature schemes in use today.

The blog’s topics can evolve freely. I promise however, that it will always strive to clarify the mathematical underpinnings of whatever subject it discusses. I hope you find the content relevant and most importantly, that you enjoy it and learn something new. Feel free to drop comments and feedback and I will do my best to review/address/incorporate.
